How to Relax, Restore, and Recharge while Isolating
We are going on week 4 of self isolation starting March 30th. In the past few weeks there have been immense changes brought on by COVID-19. It has taken time to adjust to the new routine, we have been finding better ways to take a step back to relax, restore, and recharge at the moment. Here are some tips and recommendations to help during this time in isolation.
Relax:
Sometimes the goal is to completely cut-off digitally, here are some activities we’ve been engaging in while distancing from phones and computers:
Puzzles:
Nothing like putting your mind at ease while solving puzzles. We’ve been currently working on a puzzle from Piece Out Puzzles (Pieceoutpuzzles), which has a fun, kitchy assortment of 500 piece puzzles to work out.
Baking:
In the past 30 days, searches for Baking have rose significantly , according to Google Trends. rising searches around baking include:
- Banana Bread :+140%
- Biscuit recipe: +100%
- Cornbread recipe: +70%
Restore:
Nothing like music to help re-awaken your core.
